Synthmaster One by KV331

KV331 has released the new virtual synthplugin Synthmaster One, a small brother of the Synthmaster engine but with the same high-quality. It will be a must-have synth for each electronic music producer and sounddesigner with low budgets. The redesign of the new GUI was quite a success that accelerates the workflow really well.

The plugin consists of a semimodulular architecture with two stereo-oscillators and two sub-oscillators. Each oscillator manages to 16 voices in unison-mode. By using the features “voices”, “voices mix”, “detune curve”, “detune spread”, “pan stread”, “tone spread” and “phase spread” it’s easy to get a „supersaw“ sound character to create very phatt pumping bass- and leads sound.

The plugin is based on wavetable synthesis, but it’s no problem to load own wave samples that contain wavetables.

Additionally there are two filters with 13 different modes which can be routed with three modes Split, Parallel and Seriell. Two LFOs with outstunning much analog and digital waveforms and four ADSR envelopes won’t be missed. The synthesizer has got also an implemented 16-step arpeggiator with different modes.

With round about 500 presets the synth shows its extreme versatility. The well structured browser is suitable for for Acid, Dance, Trance, Electro, Drum n Bass, Dubstep, House, Hardstyle, HandsUp, Disco, Hip-Hop, Ambient, Rock, Techno and much other genres.

To spruce up the sound you’ll also find eleven different effect types like Distortion, LoFi, Ensemble, Phaser, 6-Band EQ, Compressor, Vocoder, Delay, Chorus, Tremolo, Reverb.

SynthMaster One is available as a VST and AU-plugin for the systems Mac OS X and Windows (Windows 7 and above) for actually only 63,- USD (regular 79,- USD), which is a very affordable price. You can run the tool also as a standalone application on Windows. Crossgrades to SynthMaster and a trial version will be supportet by the manufacture too.
