Splice Sounds announced Akai Professional integration
Splice Sounds announced Akai Professional integration in Akai Pro Force, MPC Live, and MPC X.
We’ve teamed up with Akai Professional to integrate Splice Sounds into their storied Standalone Series.
Anyone with the Akai Pro Force, MPC Live, and MPC X will have their entire Splice library at their fingertips so they can search, audition, and add samples from Splice without forsaking their creative flow.
Akai Professional is a legend in sampling, and its MPC series set the bar for performable hardware samplers. The MPC’s clock swing, mute groups, and groundbreaking interface became an indispensable part of the creative workflow for beatmakers of all backgrounds. MPCs can be found on many of the most influential records in hip hop, house, and electronic music (J Dilla, Pete Rock, and Just Blaze all produced countless rap records that are now considered canon, and they did it on their MPCs).
Owners of the Akai Force, MPC Live, and MPC X will have access to their Splice Sounds library after updating to the newest Akai firmware
